I was SO surprised to have an awesome food option when I joined some friends at Milewide. The pizza oven is SO cute. It was a simple order at the counter with a text pickup.
We had the sausage, cappicola and potato pizzas. All had a tender crust that was crisp on the outside and soft inside (just the way I want my wood-fired pizza). The ingredients were top of the line in terms of flavor.
What impressed me the most: the roasted veggie small plate. It was a foil roasted packet of peppers, onions, potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower with balsamic and Parmesan).
The dining space is great and hosts space for board games, tv for game watching and a back room with pinballs. -

When I pulled up to Mile Wide Brewing for an event recently, I was at first disappointed to see there were no food trucks parked by the entrance.
But then I remembered reading that Mac's Dough House had opened in Mile Wide. My attitude immediately lifted. I enjoyed Mac's at its Jeffersontown location.
And when I got my pizza, it got even better.
Mac's is set up to the right of the front door. You go up to their counter to order, and then you get a text when your order is ready. I appreciated that I didn't have to hang around but could enjoy a beer at my table while my pizza was prepared.
Mac's has a large pizza oven, and when I picked up my prosciutto pizza, it was still very hot.
My pizza, which is large enough for 1-2 people to enjoy, had a great amount of toppings on it. Loved the combo of balsamic, prosciutto and Parmesan.
The crust was crispy and chewy where you want it to be.
I also got a Nutella pizza for my table ... because NUTELLA PIZZA! That's two of my favorite things put together.
And this pizza was oh so sweet and decadent.
Mile Wide is now a full experience with a permanent food option added on, thanks to Mac's. -

Great add to Milewide. I had the pomodoro pizza - I'm all about that tomato sauce, and this is nothing but. Just crust and sauce - perfecto.
The crust was perfect and crispy. The sauce was red and simple. A little roasted garlic on top clinched it. (Plus, a beer - who doesn't love beer and pizza?)
The price was also reasonable. Think mine was about $10. The pies are big enough for two people to share and have a nice light meal. -

Amazing and delicious pizza. High quality ingredients and friendly staff. I would recommend this place while enjoying your beer.

The Rosemary Potato pizza was very good! It was nice to have an option without tomato sauce.
